Make You Feel My Love

Your  sixteen year  old daughter comes rushing in the house, breathless...."he asked me out...he asked me out....Johnny, cutest boy in the school! I can't believe it!...I think I'm in love!

You have been selected for Jury duty. The accused enters the courtroom...wearing a suit and tie and cleanly shaven, your mouth drops...."this is a murderer?" you ask yourself. He looks so honest!

Seeing!   We all say, seeing is believing....we are often fooled into believing something is absolutely true, just based on what we can see!....How fortunate we are to have a wonderful subordinating staff of other senses to help us along.... taste, touch, smell, and sound ....all vehicles to the human soul.....I guess its just sight that gets there quicker!

So.....why construct us with 5 pathways to the soul?  This answer was delivered to me this morning........as I stepped outside to witness another magnificant Sunrise....the warmth of the morning rays dancing across my skin, the fresh taste of the morning dew on my tongue, the song of birds greeting me, and in the morning breeze came a mixture of scents from the ocean, and flowering plants. For a moment, I could feel heaven here on Earth..and thanked our Creator for doing a splendid job of giving to us...this act of love.......I got into my car, and this song came on....letting me know, I was not alone...and not far from the truth, despite not having a vision of seeing it!

When the rain is blowing in your face                                                                  and the whole world is on your case                                                                     I could offer you a warm embrace                                                                        to make you feel my love.

When the evening shadows  and the stars appear                                               and there is no one to dry your tears                                                                   I could hold you for a million years                                                                    to make you feel my love.

I know you haven't made your mind up yet                                                         but I would never do you wrong                                                                           I've known it from the moment that we met                                                        no doubt in my mind where you belong.

I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue                                                                     I'd go crawling down the avenue                                                                           oh there is nothing I wouldn't do                                                                           to make you feel my love.

The storms are raging on the rolling sea                                                            and on the highway of regret                                                                                the winds of change are blowing wild and free                                                     you ain't seen nothing like me yet.

I could make you happy, make your dreams come true                                     nothing that I woudn't do                                                                                      go to the ends of this earth for you                                                                      to make you feel my love.                (Bob Dylan)

................................................Yes, I could feel your love.....your love for every part of creation......and no, I don't need to see you, to believe in you.

Mercy                  Marc :)

Beautiful entry.  I never feel so appreciative of God as when I walk outside and and suddenly really sense the world around me.

This is a GREAT post, Marc!!!
I always loved this song, never knew Bob Dylan wrote it...thought it was Garth's song.
I found this post looking for the ones you listed on your Nov.07 entry.  I am having a rough time finding these posts.  AOL's archives do not work well with MAC AOL versions.:::sigh:::::
